Dear Mister Trump,
Turning your back on global problems regarding climate change feels a bit like an assault on the future of my two daughters. In fact, it feels like an attack on every child in the world and their children to come. America First, you say? I hope for all Americans that America doesn’t stand first in line when the climatic shit hits the fan.
You know, there are protests all over the world, reacting to your not so educated statements and actions. There are people running in favor of you. True. But there is one who doesn’t care about the garbled covfefe that your warped mind puts through your mouth: Mother Nature. She is patient and adapts to what we, humanity, do to her. One day, dear Mister Trump, Mother Nature will grab us all by our pussies. Huge. No fake.
My educated guess is that you can’t read. So, to put things in perspective for you, I have included the last speech of Dutch physicist and astronaut Wubbo Ockels, on video. Watch it. He is deceased now, but his words keep lingering around for all of us to take notice of. The big difference between you and him? He saw our planet from above, instead of from the bottom of a deep, dark hole.
Let’s wake up America again,
Jan van Draeckensteijn (just another worried Dutch dude)
